Why choose it

The 20-metre length gives you flexibility for larger rooms or cable runs along walls. CAT 5e supports Gigabit Ethernet, so you get reliable speeds for streaming, gaming, or file transfers. The stranded CCA conductors keep the cable lightweight and easier to bend than solid-core alternatives, while the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for a stable connection.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a desktop PC to a network switch across a room
• Extending a router to a media centre or smart TV
• Running a temporary network link for events or home offices
• Replacing a worn or short patch cable in an existing setup

Good to know

The cable is unshielded (U/UTP), so it is best used away from sources of heavy electromagnetic interference. The white PVC jacket is durable for indoor use. The latching nose protection on the RJ45 plugs helps prevent accidental disconnection when moving equipment.
