Wentronic Goobay CAT 6 crossover patchkabel S/FTP PiMF LSZH halogeenvrij koper 2m grijs 68459

With a bandwidth of 250 MHz and support for Gigabit Ethernet, this crossover patch cable delivers reliable high-speed connections for direct device-to-device networking. Its S/FTP shielding with individually foil-wrapped pairs (PiMF) virtually eliminates crosstalk and EMI, ensuring clean signal integrity even in dense installations.

Overview

The Wentronic Goobay CAT 6 Crossover Patch Cable is engineered for direct connections between two computers or similar network devices without the need for an uplink port. The crossover wiring (T568A to T568B) allows two hosts to communicate directly, making it ideal for ad-hoc file transfers, small workgroups, or testing environments. Each end is terminated with a gold-plated RJ45 connector featuring a snagless boot to protect the locking tab during installation and removal.

What stands out

• S/FTP (PiMF) shielding: each twisted pair is wrapped in metal foil, plus an overall braided screen, for superior protection against interference.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket: reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in the event of fire, making it suitable for public buildings and enclosed spaces.
• Pure copper conductors (AWG 27/7 stranded) ensure excellent conductivity and flexibility, supporting reliable Gigabit performance.
• Gold-plated contacts (50µm) resist corrosion and maintain optimal signal quality over repeated insertions.
• Snagless boot design prevents accidental disconnection and extends connector life.
