Wentronic Goobay CAT 6a S/FTP-patchkabel, LSZH, zwart, 30 m 94905

Network downtime and slow data transfers can cripple productivity in any office or industrial setting. The Wentronic Goobay CAT 6a Patch Cable eliminates these bottlenecks by delivering reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over a full 30-metre run. Its S/FTP shielding with individually foiled pairs (PiMF) and an overall braided screen blocks electromagnetic interference, ensuring clean signals even in cable-dense environments. The halogen-free LSZH jacket adds a critical layer of safety, emitting minimal smoke and no toxic halogens in the event of fire—ideal for public buildings, data centres, and confined spaces.

Who is it for

This cable is built for network administrators, IT professionals, and system integrators who need a dependable, high-speed link for servers, switches, patch panels, or long-distance workstation connections. It is equally suited to PoE applications, powering devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones up to 100W without a separate power supply.

Main features

• CAT 6a performance: supports 10GBASE-T up to 500 MHz bandwidth for future-proof networking.
• S/FTP (PiMF) shielding: each twisted pair is wrapped in metal foil, plus an overall braided screen, for superior EMI/RFI rejection.
• 100% copper conductors: stranded AWG 26/7 ensures flexibility and consistent signal integrity over long distances.
• LSZH jacket: low smoke zero halogen material reduces toxic fumes and corrosive gases during combustion.
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors: 50µ gold plating resists corrosion and maintains optimal contact for repeated mating cycles.
• PoE ready: supports PoE, PoE+, and 4PPoE up to 100W for powering network devices.
• Durable construction: stranded conductors and a robust 6.2 mm outer diameter withstand frequent bending and routing.

Tips

When routing this cable, avoid sharp bends with a radius tighter than four times the cable diameter to prevent performance degradation. For permanent installations, use cable ties or Velcro straps to manage slack without compressing the jacket. Pair with CAT 6a shielded connectors and patch panels to maintain end-to-end shielding continuity and achieve full 10G speeds.
