Netwerkkabel Goobay 95895 Cat6 U/UTP 20m bruin

The Goobay 95895 networking cable is a 20 m Cat6 U/UTP flat cable in brown, designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It comes with RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts for reliable conductivity and features high-quality inner conductors and robust outer sheathing to maintain signal integrity. The flat design allows discreet installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or wooden floors, providing a stable wired connection for devices such as computers, routers and switches.

Advantages

Flat Cat6 construction provides stable gigabit-capable performance while enabling low-profile routing in tight spaces. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion risk. U/UTP design reduces external electromagnetic interference for a more consistent signal. Durable outer jacket and quality conductors ensure long-term mechanical and electrical reliability.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, routers, switches and networked devices
• Home and small office Ethernet installations
• Routing behind skirting boards, under carpets or beneath wooden flooring
• Short- to medium-length wired links up to 20 m

How to use

Route the flat cable along the chosen path (behind skirting boards, under carpets or along floor edges) and avoid sharp bends or heavy pinch points. Insert RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until they click into place. For best results, keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic sources and ensure connectors are fully seated. The cable supports typical Ethernet configurations and requires no additional setup.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain gentle bend radii, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances, and use the cable within the specified 20 m length. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the outer jacket or conductors are visibly damaged.
