Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6-2000 SSTP PIMF 20m magenta

Goobay CAT 6-2000 SSTP PIMF 20m Magenta is a 20-meter network patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. The cable uses foil and braiding screened twisted pairs with PIMF (pairs in metal foil) construction and follows the EIA/TIA 568 pair sequence. The connector is a molded version with slim line strain relief and an integrated length indication on the strain relief, while contacts are gold plated for stable contact.

Advantages

This SSTP PIMF CAT6 cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference through combined foil and braid shielding. The molded RJ45 connectors include a slim line strain relief that reduces stress at the cable outlet and features a visible length marking on the boot. Gold plated contacts ensure corrosion resistance and reliable signal transmission. The cable’s 20 m length and magenta colour make it suitable for structured cabling where visual identification of runs is needed.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (up to CAT6 performance)
• Office and data center patching between switches, patch panels and workstations
• Environments requiring enhanced shielding against EMI/RFI
• Installations where cable colour coding and visible length indication are helpful

Key specifications

• Cable type: SSTP (foil and braid) with PIMF
• Category: CAT 6-2000
• Length: 20 m
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Connector: Molded RJ45 with slim line strain relief and length indication
• Contacts: Gold plated
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one end of the Goobay CAT 6-2000 SSTP PIMF cable to the RJ45 port of your network device (switch, router, patch panel or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure the strain relief is seated to reduce mechanical stress on the connector. For optimal performance maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel to strong power lines where possible.

Recommendations

Use this cable for structured installations that require shielded cabling to minimise interference. When routing the cable, observe the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius and avoid crushing or kinking the cable to preserve performance and connector integrity.
