Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6A patchkabel RJ-45 Cat6a 15 m zwart

The Goobay CAT 6A Patch Cable is a 15 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It uses copper conductors (CU) and a halogen-free (LSZH) sheath, with S/FTP shielding to reduce interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a robust cable jacket ensure reliable connections for home or office networks.

Advantages

The cable supports Cat6a standards for up to 10 Gbps networks and offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to S/FTP shielding. Copper conductors provide stable signal transmission, while the LSZH sheath minimises harmful emissions in case of fire. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes
• Office networks and workstations
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming and large file transfers
• Connection between switches, routers, and patch panels

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Conductors: Copper (CU)
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Sheath: Halogen-free (LSZH)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; secure with cable ties or clips if necessary. Test the connection after installation to confirm link speed and stability.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum. Use the Cat6a cable for runs where 10 Gbps or enhanced shielding is required.
