Netwerkkabel Goobay Cat6-150 SSTP 1,5 m magenta

The Goobay Cat6-150 SSTP networking cable, 1.5 m in Magenta, is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. Fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends, this Cat6 cable supports fast wired connections and offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its SSTP (shielded, screened twisted pair) construction. The 1.5-meter length balances reach and cable management, while the Magenta jacket provides a visible color option for organized and identifiable network setups.

Advantages

This Cat6 SSTP cable delivers reliable signal integrity and reduced crosstalk compared with unshielded cable types, making it suitable for environments with potential electromagnetic noise. The standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The 1.5 m length minimizes excess slack in close-proximity connections, and the colored jacket simplifies identification in multi-cable installations while maintaining the physical flexibility needed for routing behind furniture or inside racks.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to routers or switches
• Wiring home entertainment equipment and smart home hubs
• Office workstation and small server cabinet connections
• Temporary setups at events or trade shows where visible cable color is helpful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: SSTP (shielded, screened twisted pair)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, 8P8C
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper conductors (depending on variant)
• Jacket color: Magenta
• Typical applications: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and compatible networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into the network outlet, router or switch. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure link. For best performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable and route it away from large sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. Use the Magenta color to distinguish this cable from other connections in a multi-cable environment.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit connections, pair the cable with compatible Cat6 network equipment and avoid excessive cable length or extension. When installing in racks or conduits, allow gentle curves and secure the cable without compressing the shield. Replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or connectors show wear to maintain shielding effectiveness and signal quality.
