Netwerkkabel Goobay RJ-45 CAT6 1 m

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT6 1m networking cable by WENTRONIC is a flat U/UTP cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in home and small office networks. The cable is 1 meter long, slim and flat for easy installation under flooring or along walls, and features molded connectors with strain relief and gold-plated contacts for reliable connections.

Advantages

The flat construction (approx. 1.5 mm x 6 mm) reduces profile for discreet routing under laminate or along skirting. Low bending radius and a slim-line strain relief make the cable easy to route in tight spaces while maintaining connector stability. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The cable is easy to mark or superscribe for identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and network devices over short distances
• Home networking where cables are routed under laminate or along walls
• Patch panels and wall connectors thanks to slim-line strain relief

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router) and the other plug to the corresponding port. Route the flat cable along skirting boards, under laminate or through cable channels; avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's bending radius. Ensure the molded strain relief seats fully in the port to maintain a secure connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for short-length connections up to 1 m within a single room or rack. Avoid repeated heavy mechanical stress at the connector area and do not exceed the intended bending radius to preserve signal integrity.
