Patchkabel Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF geel 0,5m

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable S/FTP (PiMF) in yellow, 0.5 m long, provides high-speed data transmission with enhanced shielding. Built with high-quality inner conductors, aluminum/copper-plated RJ-45 connectors and robust sheathing, this CAT 6 cable reduces interference and maintains a stable network connection suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

Shielding S/FTP (PiMF) minimises crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Precision RJ-45 plugs with aluminum/copper plating ensure reliable contacts and signal integrity. Compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter while durable outer sheath increases mechanical protection and longevity.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Short patching runs in office networking racks
• High-speed Ethernet connections (up to CAT6 performance)

How to use

Insert RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until they click into place. Use this 0.5 m patch cable for short connections between network equipment such as switches, routers and desktop computers. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the ends to preserve shielding and signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable clear of strong electromagnetic sources (large motors, transformers). Use the short 0.5 m length for tidy patch panels or direct device-to-device links; replace the cable if connectors become loose or the sheath shows visible damage.
