Platte patchkabel Goobay CAT 6 3m U/UTP geel

The Goobay CAT 6 Flat Patch Cable 3m U/UTP in yellow is a low-profile Ethernet cable designed for fast, stable network connections where space is limited. Its flat construction allows discreet installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or along walls, while CAT 6 performance and U/UTP shielding support reliable data transmission for wired LAN environments. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure a consistent physical connection and reduced signal loss, suitable for home and office network setups that require both functionality and tidy cable routing.

Advantages

The flat design reduces bulk and simplifies routing in tight spaces without compromising cable performance. CAT 6 specification combined with U/UTP shielding offers improved crosstalk protection and supports high-speed data transfer typical for modern Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and resistance to corrosion, while the 3 meter length provides flexibility for typical desk-to-wall or cabinet-to-router connections. The yellow color provides clear visual identification of network lines in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and networked printers to routers and switches
• Structured cabling runs behind skirting boards or under flooring where a flat profile is required
• Home offices, small office networks and multimedia streaming setups
• Temporary or permanent connections in rack cabinets and patch panels at short distance

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6
• Length: 3 m
• Structure: flat, low-profile design
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor quality: high-quality inner conductors for stable signal transmission
• Color: yellow

How to use

Unroll the flat patch cable and route it along the desired path, tucking it behind skirting boards or under carpets as required. Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into the router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to establish a reliable link. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile force when installing to preserve conductor integrity and maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results use the cable for connections up to 3 meters within the same room or between adjacent furniture and networking equipment. When routing under flooring or behind trim, avoid compressing the cable under heavy objects and maintain gentle curves rather than tight bends. If you require longer distances or additional electromagnetic protection, consider higher-category or shielded alternatives appropriate to your installation.
