Platte patchkabel Goobay CAT 6A U/UTP wit 3m

The Goobay flat patch cable CAT 6A U/UTP in white (3 m) provides high-speed data transmission and a stable network connection. The cable combines high-quality inner conductors, a robust sheath and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs to ensure reliable performance in home and office networks. Its flat design allows discreet installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or beneath wooden floors.

Advantages

The flat construction reduces cable profile for easier routing in narrow gaps. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. U/UTP category 6A specification supports high data rates and minimizes crosstalk, while the sturdy outer sheath increases mechanical durability during installation and everyday use.

Suitable for

• Fixed installations behind skirting boards and molding
• Routing under carpets and rugs
• Concealed cabling beneath wooden or laminate floors
• Wiring for desktop PCs, switches, routers and IPTV set-top boxes

How to use

Route the flat cable along the desired path, sliding it under skirting boards or beneath floor coverings where needed. Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the network ports of devices such as routers, switches or network cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and that the cable is not kinked or tightly bent at the plug ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable parallel to heavy power lines to reduce electromagnetic interference. Do not crush the cable under heavy furniture, and maintain gentle bends (large radius) at connection points. The cable is intended for in-room and concealed installations, not for direct burial or outdoor exposure.
