Wirewin BP 2U BL rack-blindplaat 19 inch 2U zwart staal

In many server rooms, open rack spaces disrupt airflow and allow dust to settle on critical hardware. The SLIM WIREWIN BP 2U BL blanking panel closes those gaps with a solid steel plate that restores proper cooling dynamics and gives the rack a clean, finished look. Unlike flimsy plastic covers, this panel is built from powder-coated steel that withstands daily handling and long-term use in busy data centers.

Highlights

• 2U height for standard 19-inch racks, EIA-310-D compliant
• Solid steel construction with black powder-coated finish
• Prevents hot air recirculation and dust ingress
• Includes four M6 mounting screws for quick installation
• RoHS compliant, suitable for server racks, network cabinets, and data centers

In daily use

Installing the BP 2U BL takes only minutes: align it with the rack rails, insert the four M6 screws, and tighten. Once mounted, it blocks unused vertical space, forcing cool air to flow through active equipment instead of bypassing it. This simple measure can lower operating temperatures and reduce fan noise. The black finish matches most rack hardware, creating a uniform appearance that looks professional in any environment.
