Good to know

Season the mortar before first use by grinding a handful of raw rice to remove any manufacturing residue. After each use, rinse with warm water (no soap) and dry thoroughly to prevent rust. Avoid acidic ingredients for prolonged periods. With proper care, this mortar will last a lifetime.
