Zebra KIT Ethernet USB Comm. ShareCradle voor 5xTC201

When a fleet of Zebra TC20 or TC25 mobile computers needs reliable wired network access and USB connectivity, the standard ShareCradle alone falls short. The Zebra Ethernet USB Communication Module Kit (CRD-TCVT-5DE-1) solves this by adding an Ethernet port and a USB-B host interface directly to a compatible 5-slot ShareCradle. This user-installable module transforms the cradle into a true communication hub, enabling fast data transfer, charging, and network synchronization for up to five devices simultaneously.

Who is it for

This module is ideal for warehouses, retail back offices, healthcare facilities, and field service operations that rely on Zebra TC20/TC25 handhelds. It suits IT administrators and operations managers who need to deploy, update, or sync multiple devices efficiently without individual cable clutter. If your team already uses a Zebra 5-slot ShareCradle, this kit is the missing link for wired Ethernet connectivity and USB host functionality.

Main features

• Adds 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (RJ45) connectivity to the ShareCradle for fast, stable network access.
• Provides a USB-B host interface for direct connection to a PC or thin client.
• User-installable module: no special tools or service required.
• LED indicators for Ethernet link/activity and power status for quick diagnostics.
• Powered by the ShareCradle, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
• Durable black plastic construction designed for daily use in demanding environments.

Tips

Before installation, ensure the ShareCradle is disconnected from power. Align the module with the designated slot on the cradle and secure it firmly. For optimal network performance, use Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables and keep cable lengths under 100 meters. To verify proper operation, check that the power LED is solid and the Ethernet link LED blinks during data transfer. If you need to connect multiple cradles, consider a network switch to expand your deployment.
