Zuilluidspreker Omnitronic PCS-250 IP44 250W, weerbestendige verticale PA-luidsprekerbox

The Omnitronic PCS-250 IP44 is a weather-resistant column speaker with 250W nominal power designed for vertical public-address and background-music applications. With IP44 protection against splashing water and a narrow vertical dispersion pattern, this PA loudspeaker is intended for covered outdoor areas, entrances, terraces and indoor public spaces where clear speech intelligibility and unobtrusive background sound distribution are required. The column form factor allows for compact mounting and integration with standard audio systems.

How to use

Connect the Omnitronic PCS-250 to a compatible PA amplifier or mixer using the recommended speaker cabling and observe amplifier impedance and power ratings. Position the column speaker at an appropriate height and angle to optimize horizontal coverage and maintain intelligibility for the listening area. For covered outdoor installations, place the speaker where it is protected from direct exposure to heavy rain while still benefiting from its IP44 splash protection. Ensure secure mechanical fixing to the mounting surface and verify correct polarity and level settings during system commissioning.

Recommendations

For best results, use the PCS-250 for voice-centric applications and low-to-moderate level background music in covered outdoor or indoor public spaces. Match the speaker to an amplifier that can deliver clean power within the speaker’s rated range, check mounting stability periodically, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct heavy rainfall despite the IP44 rating.
