Zyxel GS1350-26HP-EU0101F netwerkswitch Managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) Grijs

The Zyxel GS1350-26HP-EU0101F is a managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for surveillance deployments. With 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, it provides a switching capacity of 52 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 8,000 entries. The switch is finished in titanium grey and includes features targeted at CCTV and IP camera installations, such as extended-range PoE, high power budget options and front-panel status indicators.

Advantages

This switch offers specialized PoE software for surveillance that can automatically detect and recover failed IP cameras and other powered devices using customizable parameters. Extended-range mode enables power and data delivery over existing Cat 5e cabling up to 250 m to support distant camera placements. Models in the series provide large total PoE budgets (up to 375 W depending on model) and an intuitive front panel with LEDs and a one-touch Restore button for quick recovery from misconfigurations. Built-in hardware protections include stabilized power filtering, surge and ESD protections, isolated circuit design and an intelligent system monitor to maintain reliable operation.

Suitable for

• Small to medium CCTV and IP camera systems
• Remote camera placement using existing Cat 5e cabling (extended-range up to 250 m)
• Networks requiring managed L2 features and PoE power distribution

How to use

Install the GS1350-26HP in a suitable rack or on a stable surface and connect IP cameras or other PoE devices to the Gigabit RJ-45 ports. Configure the switch through its management interface to set PoE policies, recovery parameters for surveillance devices, VLANs and other L2 features required by your network. To deploy cameras beyond the standard 100 m limit, enable the extended-range mode to provide power and data up to 250 m over Cat 5e cable. Use the front-panel LEDs to monitor real-time PoE status and press the Restore button if you need to revert to default configuration settings.

Recommendations

For reliable surveillance operation, plan PoE budget per port according to camera power requirements and leave headroom for peak consumption. Use the switch’s recovery settings to define appropriate detection and reboot intervals for your camera models, and place the switch in a protected environment to benefit from its surge, ESD and isolated-circuit protections.
