Accesspoint Huawei AP362E 2,4 GHz 5 GHz

The Huawei AP362E is a dual-band access point supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi‑Fi bands, designed for indoor enterprise and small-business environments. It implements modern wireless standards including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax to deliver improved throughput and capacity. Built-in Ethernet with 10/100/1000 Mbit/s LAN and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support simplifies installation and deployment. Security is provided through WPA2-Enterprise and WPA2-Personal algorithms, while the compact white enclosure and modest 0.51 kg weight allow unobtrusive mounting in offices, meeting rooms and public areas.

Advantages

The AP362E provides simultaneous dual-band operation to balance device density and throughput across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels. Support for the latest wireless networking standards increases compatibility with a wide range of client devices while improving spectral efficiency. A single Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE reduces cabling complexity and enables flexible placement without a nearby power outlet. Low maximum power consumption (11.2 W) and a lightweight design make the unit energy-efficient and easy to mount on ceilings or walls.

Suitable for

• Small and medium office spaces requiring reliable Wi‑Fi coverage
• Meeting rooms and conference areas with mixed client devices
• Retail and public indoor spaces where discreet mounting is desired
• Environments needing secure authentication via WPA2-Enterprise or WPA2-Personal

Key specifications

• Wireless bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (dual-band)
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
• Ethernet: 1 × RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbit/s
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, maximum consumption 11.2 W

How to use

Mount the AP362E on a ceiling or wall at a central location for optimal coverage. Connect a Cat5e or better Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port and supply power using a PoE-enabled switch or injector. Configure SSIDs, security settings and radio parameters via the network management interface or controller according to site requirements. Place the access point away from large metal objects and sources of RF interference to maintain stable wireless performance.

Recommendations

For best results, enable both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and segment traffic with separate SSIDs or VLANs where appropriate. Use WPA2-Enterprise for environments requiring centralized authentication and stronger control over user access. Perform a site survey to determine optimal placement and channel planning to minimize co-channel interference in dense deployments.
