ACT blauwe 15 m LSZH SFTP CAT6-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Blue 15 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6 patch cable (model FB9615) is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet as well as legacy and specialized services such as xDSL, telephony, ISDN, T1, ATM (155/633 Mbps), 100 VG AnyLAN, broadband video up to 550 MHz and serial applications. The cable uses LSZH material to reduce smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire and comes with high-quality RJ45 connectors for consistent performance.

Advantages

The SFTP design provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed connections. LSZH jacket increases safety in enclosed spaces by limiting harmful fumes during combustion. At 15 m length the cable offers flexible placement between network devices while the CAT6 specification ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet and many legacy systems.

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of your device (computer, switch, router or modem) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress; maintain separation from high-voltage power lines where possible to minimise interference. For wall or in-wall installation consult local codes and a qualified installer, as the cable is LSZH but not necessarily rated for permanent in-wall placement in all jurisdictions.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use this SFTP CAT6 cable for Gigabit connections and environments with potential electromagnetic interference. Keep cable length within recommended limits for Ethernet standards, avoid tight coils and secure connectors to prevent accidental unplugging. For structured cabling or concealed installations, verify compliance with local building regulations and installation best practices.
