How to use

Recommendations

ACT recommends using 28 AWG slimline patch cables for short permanent link lengths only, since the smaller conductor gauge increases attenuation at higher frequencies compared with standard 24 AWG cables. For PoE deployments, limit bundles to a maximum of 24 cables to help keep the centre cable temperature rise below 15 °C above ambient as per ANSI TSB-184-A guidance.
