ACT geel 30 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel zonder vergrendelingslip met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Yellow 30 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable provides a long-reach, shielded Ethernet connection for structured cabling and device linking. Built to the CAT6A standard, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduced interference in installations that require shielded foiled twisted pair (SFTP) performance. The yellow jacket improves visibility and identification within racks, cable trays, or mixed-colour installations.

Advantages

The cable combines SFTP shielding with RJ45 connectors that feature snagless boots, helping to protect the connector clip during installation and removal. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable contact resistance and stable signal transfer over longer runs. At 30 meters length, the cable offers flexibility for connecting equipment across rooms or larger rack distances while maintaining CAT6A performance characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and servers in data cabinets
• Horizontal cabling runs in offices and communication rooms
• Workstation to wall outlet connections where a longer reach is required
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to reduce electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6A (supports up to 10 Gbps in appropriate network conditions)
• Shielding type: SFTP (foiled shield with overall braid for improved EMI protection)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with snagless boot
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for reduced corrosion and consistent conductivity
• Cable length: 30 m
• Colour: yellow for easy identification

How to use

Route the cable from the source device to the destination, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils to prevent signal degradation. Insert RJ45 connectors firmly into the network ports until the clip clicks. If routing through cabinets or conduits, ensure the shielding continuity is maintained where grounding or bonding is required. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use the cable within standard installation practices for CAT6A SFTP cabling: maintain proper bend radius, avoid excessive pulling force, and ensure connectors are seated correctly. For installations that require grounding, follow local regulations and equipment manufacturer guidance to preserve shield effectiveness.
