ACT geel 7 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel met rastnasenbescherming en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Yellow 7m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission. Its reduced diameter improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets, and the LSZH jacket reduces smoke emission for safer indoor installations. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connectivity.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter lowers the bending radius compared with regular CAT6A patch cords, allowing denser cable routing and better rack airflow. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk for improved signal integrity. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector latch during installation, and LSZH material minimizes smoke and hazardous gases in confined spaces.

How to use

Connect RJ45 ends to corresponding Ethernet ports on switches, patch panels or network devices. Route the slimline cable through rack channels or cable management trays, taking advantage of the reduced diameter to maximize airflow. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid excessive sharp bends at the plug ends to maintain signal performance.

Recommendations

Follow ISO/IEC and TIA guidelines for patch cord usage; although 22–26 AWG is standard, slimline cables use smaller conductor gauges which increase attenuation at higher frequencies. For PoE deployments, limit bundled slimline cables to a maximum of 24 per bundle to keep temperature rise within acceptable levels (ANSI TSB-184-A: less than 15 °C above ambient for the centre cable).
