SCART-kabel ShiverPeaks 97022-10.0SPP, 10 m lengte, SCART stekker-op-stekker

The ShiverPeaks 97022-10.0SPP SCART male-to-male cable is a 10 m analog AV cable designed to connect devices equipped with standard SCART sockets. It carries stereo audio and composite or RGB video signals between equipment such as DVD players, set-top boxes, older televisions and other legacy AV devices. The extended length supports installations where devices are spaced apart or where a routed cable run is required.

Advantages

This SCART cable provides a single-cable solution for transmitting audio and video signals without the need for separate connectors, reducing clutter in setups with legacy AV equipment. The 10 m length enables flexible placement of devices while keeping a direct wired connection to preserve signal integrity compared with some wireless alternatives. The cable's SCART male-to-male configuration ensures compatibility with standard SCART sockets on source and display devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players or VCRs to older televisions
• Linking set-top boxes, digital receivers or multicontact AV devices to displays
• Home theater setups using legacy equipment and RGB/composite signalling
• Long-run AV connections where SCART ports are required

Key specifications

• Cable type: SCART male-to-male
• Length: 10 meters
• Signal support: analog stereo audio, composite video, RGB video
• Connector type: 21-pin SCART connectors (male) on both ends
• Typical use: AV interconnect for legacy consumer electronics

How to use

Insert one SCART male connector firmly into the SCART socket of the source device and the other into the SCART socket of the display or recording device. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid potential signal disruptions. Select the appropriate input on the display (for example, AV or SCART) and configure the source device's output settings if necessary to match composite or RGB signalling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and route it away from strong electrical interference sources. When using long SCART runs, verify that both devices support the chosen signal format (composite or RGB) and use the display's input selection and the source's video output settings to ensure correct colour and aspect ratio. If signal quality issues appear, check connector seating and test with a shorter cable to isolate potential faults.
