SCART-kabel ShiverPeaks 97543-SPP 1,5 m afgeschermd, stekker op stekker, 21-polig

ShiverPeaks 97543-SPP SCART cable, 1.5 m shielded, male-to-male, 21-pin is designed to connect legacy audio‑video devices such as DVD players, set‑top boxes and older televisions. The 1.5‑metre length provides a practical reach for home multimedia setups while the full 21‑pin SCART connectors support composite video, RGB signals and stereo audio. Shielded construction reduces electromagnetic interference to help preserve picture and sound quality between connected devices.

Advantages

The shielded design of this SCART cable improves signal integrity by reducing external interference and crosstalk. Standard 21‑pin SCART connectors ensure broad compatibility with classic AV equipment without the need for adapters. The 1.5 m length balances flexibility and cable management for typical living‑room or home‑theatre layouts. Durable connector housings and molded strain reliefs contribute to a stable physical connection during repeated use.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players to older televisions
• Linking set‑top boxes or satellite receivers to SCART‑equipped displays
• Integrating retro consoles and classic AV devices into a home multimedia system
• Routing composite video, RGB and stereo audio signals where SCART interfaces are present

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 metres
• Connector type: 21‑pin male SCART to 21‑pin male SCART
• Construction: shielded cable to reduce EMI and maintain signal quality
• Supported signals: composite video, RGB video, stereo audio
• Use case environment: indoor home multimedia and retro AV equipment

How to use

Connect one end of the SCART cable to the SCART output of the source device (for example a DVD player or set‑top box) and the other end to the SCART input on the television or monitor. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and oriented correctly to avoid bent pins. Select the appropriate AV input on the display device and configure the source device output format (composite or RGB) if required. When disconnecting, hold the connector housing and not the cable to avoid stressing the cable termination.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong power cables or large electrical equipment to minimize interference. If using RGB signals, set both source and display to compatible modes to ensure correct color and resolution. Store the cable coiled without sharp bends to prolong connector and cable life.
