ACT geel 7 meter U/UTP CAT6A patchkabel, zonder vergrendeling met RJ45-stekkers

ACT Yellow 7 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB2807) is a 7 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission. The cable uses U/UTP CAT6A construction with AWG 24 conductors and comes in a yellow PVC sheath (RAL 1023). Both ends are fitted with snagless RJ-45 connectors with contacts plated with 50 µ gold for reliable signal transfer.

Advantages

The U/UTP CAT6A design reduces electromagnetic interference and supports higher data rates suitable for modern networks. Snagless RJ-45 connectors simplify installation in patch panels and tight spaces, while gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and connection stability. The yellow PVC sheath increases visibility for cable management and the 7 m length provides extended reach between devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office and data center environments
• High-speed Ethernet installations up to CAT6A performance
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a visible cable color is preferred
• Home networks requiring longer reach between networked devices

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6A
• Cable length: 7 m
• Conductors: AWG 24
• Connectors: RJ-45 – 2×
• Contact plating: 50 µ gold
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Yellow (RAL 1023)
• Brand and model: ACT IB2807

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (switch, router, computer or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure with cable ties or organizers as needed to maintain signal integrity and neat cable management.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius greater than the cable diameter. Use the yellow color to mark specific network segments or pathways and replace cables that show visible damage or significant wear.
