ACT grijze 3 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-aansluitingen

The ACT Grey 3 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB4003) provides high-speed wired connectivity for networked devices. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure stable data transmission, RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward connection, and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket that limits smoke and toxic gas emission in the event of fire. The cable is suitable for indoor installations where low smoke characteristics are required; it is compliant with CPR Euroclass Eca and less flexible than PVC alternatives.

Advantages

This CAT6A S/FTP patch cable delivers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable high-speed connections for modern networks. The RJ-45 terminations ensure broad device compatibility, while the LSZH outer jacket reduces the risk of hazardous fumes in poorly ventilated environments. The 3 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desk-to-patch-panel runs.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between computers, switches, and routers
• Data centers and office network patches
• Environments requiring low smoke emissions (aircraft interiors, trains, vehicles, confined indoor spaces)
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to CAT6A performance

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices (for example, computer to switch or switch to patch panel) until the connector clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain proper bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For organized installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties and avoid running parallel to mains power cables to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH S/FTP CAT6A cable indoors or in enclosed spaces where reduced smoke and toxic gas emission is desired. Avoid outdoor exposure or direct burial unless additional protective conduits are used. For optimal performance, test links after installation and replace any damaged cables or connectors.
