ACT ivoor 30 meter U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel met rastanasbescherming en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Ivory 30 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable is a 30 m network cable designed for structured cabling and Ethernet connections. It uses U/UTP CAT6 specification to support gigabit performance over copper and comes with snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent signal transmission. The ivory-coloured jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office, home or data centre environments while offering flexibility and handling properties appropriate for permanent or temporary installations.

Advantages

The cable's CAT6 construction supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking, offering reliable bandwidth for high-speed data transfer and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the connector clip during installation and the gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 30 m length eliminates the need for intermediate patch panels in many configurations and the ivory jacket helps the cable blend into light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Network patching between switches, patch panels and wall outlets
• Temporary event networks and server rack interconnections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 (snagless)
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Cable category: CAT6 U/UTP
• Product colour: Ivory
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a network device such as a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the target device or outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain recommended bend radius for RJ45 copper cabling and keep the cable separated from strong electromagnetic sources where possible. For permanent installations, label each end to simplify identification.

Recommendations

Use the cable for gigabit and Fast Ethernet applications up to the CAT6 specified distances. Avoid exposing the cable to direct sunlight, excessive moisture or mechanical strain. For long-term structured cabling, follow local installation standards and testing practices to verify link performance after installation.
