ACT lila 1,50 m SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met rastnasbescherming en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Purple 1.50 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a 1.5-meter network cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for stable signal transmission. The cable's CAT6A specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-category patch cords, and its purple jacket makes identification in patch panels and cable runs easier.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, helping to maintain signal integrity in dense or electrically noisy environments. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the latch during installation and removal while gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact conductivity. The 1.5 m length offers a compact solution for short runs between network devices, switches, patch panels and wall sockets.

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, modems or network interface cards until the latch engages. For patch panel connections, ensure the cable is routed without sharp bends and that the connector latch is not obstructed. Use the 1.5 m length for short links between adjacent equipment or from a wall outlet to a workstation. Avoid stretching the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for twisted-pair cables to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cables. When deploying in patch bays, label each purple cable at both ends for quick identification. Inspect connectors periodically for contamination or damage and replace the cable if performance issues occur.
