ACT lila 3,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel snagless met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Purple 3.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections over a 3 m run. It uses S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided shields) construction to reduce external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and features snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. The cable's purple jacket provides easy visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves immunity to EMI and maintains signal integrity in dense or electrically noisy environments. CAT6A performance supports higher bandwidth and sustained data rates compared with lower category cables. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the connector clip during installation and removal, while gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The 3.00 meter length balances reach and neat cable management for patch panels, racks, and desktop connections.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ45 plug to the endpoint device (PC, server or access point). Ensure the connectors fully seat until the latch clicks to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; maintain bend radius consistent with the cable diameter. For permanent installations, use organized cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, test connections with a network tester after installation to verify link speed and absence of errors. Use purple cable identification when marking dedicated segments (for example, management networks or specific VLANs) to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
