ACT oranje 10,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel, rastnasbeschermd, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 10.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 10 m cable supports reliable data transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and the bright orange jacket makes the cable easy to trace in crowded racks or cable runs.

Advantages

SFTP (S/FTP) shielding reduces near-end crosstalk and external EMI, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with many adjacent cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion for stable connections over time. The snagless boot prevents connector damage during pulling and routing, extending usable life. The 10 m length accommodates medium-distance runs without additional couplers, and the high-visibility orange jacket simplifies identification and troubleshooting.

How to use

Route the ACT CAT6A SFTP cable between network equipment ensuring bends respect the cable's bend radius and avoid tight kinks. Insert RJ-45 plugs firmly into the ports until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. When running the cable near power lines or noisy equipment, keep a physical separation where possible to further reduce interference. If using cable management channels or racks, fix the cable without applying excessive tension to the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this SFTP CAT6A patch cable for critical Ethernet links requiring elevated noise immunity and support for 10 Gigabit speeds. For permanent horizontal runs or outdoor exposure, consider selecting cables specified for in-wall or outdoor use. Periodically inspect connector contacts and jacket condition and replace the cable if any visible damage or degraded connection quality occurs.
