ACT oranje 2,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met rastnasenschutz en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 2.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable provides a compact, shielded connection for high-speed Ethernet links. This 2 m cable features S/FTP construction to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transfer. Its bright orange jacket makes cable runs easy to identify in crowded racks or home office setups while offering the performance required for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs, improving immunity to external interference and preserving data integrity in electrically noisy environments. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector latch during installation and removal, and gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for consistent conductivity. The 2 meter length balances reach and tidiness for desktop, patch panel, and equipment-to-switch connections, while the orange colour supports quick visual identification.

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the Ethernet ports on your devices until the latch clicks into place. Use the 2 m length to connect devices across a desk, between networking equipment and a patch panel, or to extend a wall outlet to a workstation. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable to maintain signal integrity. If routing through cable trays or behind furniture, secure the cable with suitable clips or ties without compressing the shielded pairs.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within recommended temperature ranges and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. If mixing with other cable types in patch panels, keep shielded and unshielded runs separated or follow local grounding practices for shielded cabling to ensure optimal noise rejection.
