ACT oranje 2 meter U/UTP CAT5E-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 2 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable (IB4502) is a 2 m network cable designed for standard Ethernet connections. It uses AWG#24 conductors and a PVC sheath, supports up to 100 MHz bandwidth and comes in a bright orange RAL 2000 colour for easy identification. The cable is fitted with RJ45 connectors featuring gold plating to ensure reliable conductivity and stable data transmission.

Advantages

This U/UTP CAT5E patch cable offers consistent performance up to 100 MHz and a robust PVC sheath for everyday installations. AWG#24 conductors provide a balance between flexibility and signal integrity, while gold-plated RJ45 contacts reduce corrosion and improve long-term electrical contact. The orange RAL 2000 colour simplifies cable management and visual tracing in rack or office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in LANs
• Office and data cabinet patching
• Temporary or permanent network links requiring visible colour coding

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT5E
• Length: 2 m
• Bandwidth: 100 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Orange (RAL 2000)
• Connectors: RJ45 with gold plating

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the patch cable to a network device (computer, switch, router) and the other end to the corresponding port on another network device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical sources that may cause interference.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this CAT5E cable within its 100 MHz rating and recommended environmental conditions. When installing in permanent or structured cabling, follow local cabling standards and avoid excessive pulling force; label both ends if using multiple orange cables to prevent confusion.
