ACT oranje 20 meter U/UTP CAT6-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 20 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ-45 connectors is a 20 m network cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office environments. It uses U/UTP CAT6 construction, AWG#24 conductors and RJ-45 plugs with 50 µ gold-plated contacts. The cable jacket is PVC and the product is finished in a bright orange (RAL 2000) for easy identification.

Advantages

The cable supports a bandwidth of 250 MHz and is built to CAT6 specifications to enable high-speed network connections. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal integrity and corrosion resistance. PVC sheath provides basic mechanical protection while the orange colour increases visibility in rack and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in local area networks
• Patch panel to switch connections in small office and home networks
• Temporary installations and test setups where cable visibility is helpful

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Contacts: 50 µ gold plated
• Bandwidth: 250 MHz
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Orange (RAL 2000)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices you want to connect, ensuring correct orientation and full seating of the plug. Use the cable to link workstations, switches, routers or patch panels. Avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources for optimal signal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable without tight bends, do not overload cable bundles, and secure connections at both ends. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors are visibly damaged. For permanent installations consider using plenum-rated or shielded variants if required by local regulations or environment.
