ACT Oranje 3 meter U/UTP CAT6A patchkabel, zonder rastong, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 3 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable is a network connection cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable Ethernet performance. With a 3 m length and bright orange jacket, the cable connects devices using RJ-45 connectors on both ends and follows the CAT6A standard to support demanding network environments.

Advantages

This U/UTP CAT6A cable features snagless RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts to reduce signal loss and improve contact reliability. The unscreened twisted pair construction provides consistent performance for typical 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications while the 3 meter length offers flexibility in workstation and equipment placement. The orange colour improves cable identification within patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, and network switches within office or home networks
• Patch panel connections in data cabinets and racks
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where clear cable identification is beneficial
• Ethernet connections for routers, modems, and networked peripherals

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Standard: Category 6A (CAT6A)
• Cabling: Unscreened twisted pair (U/UTP)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with snagless boots
• Contacts: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Supported link speeds: Compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other end into the corresponding port on your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce electromagnetic interference by keeping it separate from power lines when possible. For optimal performance, verify that connected equipment supports the desired network speeds.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium-length connections up to 3 metres. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on the connectors during installation. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where additional shielding is required, consider using shielded cabling options; otherwise this U/UTP CAT6A cable is suitable for standard office and home network setups.
