ACT rood 2 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

ACT Red 2 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a high-performance network cable designed for indoor networking. The S/FTP (SSTP PIMF) shielding and AWG 26 conductors provide reliable high-speed data transmission up to 10 Gbps, while the LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire. Both ends use RJ-45 connectors with 50 µ gold-plated contacts for stable connections and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The cable combines SFTP shielding and pair-level foil to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. LSZH outer sheath limits smoke and toxic emissions in enclosed spaces. Gold-plated 50 µ contacts ensure low contact resistance and long-term signal integrity. The 2 m length and red colour make the cable easy to route and identify in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Patch panels and structured cabling installations
• Environments where low-smoke, low-toxicity materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6 (supports up to 10 Gbps at appropriate distances)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Shielding: SFTP (SSTP PIMF) with pair-level foil
• Conductors: AWG 26
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contacts: 50 µ gold-plated
• Sheath: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, such as switches, routers or network cards. Ensure connectors click into place to secure the connection. Route the 2 m cable without sharp bends or tension and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. For best performance, use within standard recommended CAT6 distance limits.

Recommendations

Use this cable indoors and in enclosed spaces where LSZH safety properties are required. Inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if contacts or the jacket are damaged. For permanent infrastructure exceeding CAT6 distance limits, consider higher-category cabling or active network equipment to maintain 10 Gbps performance.
