ACT Wit 5,0 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT White 5.0 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a network patch lead designed for gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed data applications. The cable uses U/UTP CAT6 twisted pair construction for reliable signal transmission and gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs to maintain low contact resistance. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket reduces toxic emissions and dense smoke in case of fire, making this cable suitable for installation in spaces where reduced smoke and toxicity are required.

Advantages

The cable combines CAT6 performance with U/UTP construction to limit crosstalk and support high data rates up to gigabit speeds. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and signal integrity over time. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke density and halogen emissions under fire conditions, which is an important safety characteristic for enclosed or poorly ventilated environments. At 5.0 meters length the cable is long enough for typical desktop and small office connections while remaining manageable and easy to route.

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices, such as a computer, switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve cable performance. For installations in racks or conduits, allow appropriate slack and use cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the ACT CAT6 LSZH patch cable where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are a requirement, for example in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. Avoid running the cable near high-voltage power lines to limit electromagnetic interference. For guaranteed gigabit performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths and use properly terminated ports and quality network equipment.
