ACT zwart 0,5 meter S/FTP CAT7 PUR flex patchkabel rastnasenvrij met RJ45-stekkers (CAT6A-conform)

The ACT Black 0.5m S/FTP CAT7 PUR Flex Patch Cable RJ45 (FB8500) is a short, high-performance network cable designed for demanding indoor and outdoor industrial environments. It features a polyurethane (PUR) jacket that provides oil and UV resistance and retains flexibility across a wide range of weather conditions. The cable uses full copper 24 AWG conductors in an S/FTP shielding layout to meet CAT7 specifications and supports PoE+ (30 W) applications. Connectors are RJ45 with 50 µ gold plating, compatible with CAT6A contact standards. The cable length is 0.5 m and the colour is black.

Advantages

The PUR jacket offers improved resistance to oils and UV exposure while maintaining flexibility for installation in confined or moving spaces. Full copper 24 AWG conductors and S/FTP shielding ensure stable high-speed data transmission and reduced interference. Gold-plated 50 µ RJ45 contacts provide reliable mating and corrosion resistance. The short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and is suitable for patching between nearby ports.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a network port (switch, patch panel or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the adjacent device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. For PoE+ devices, verify power and device compatibility before prolonged use. Use the 0.5 m length for close-proximity connections to minimize excess cable and improve airflow in racks and cabinets.

Recommendations

Avoid tight bends with a radius smaller than the cable manufacturer’s recommended minimum; protect the cable from prolonged mechanical abrasion and direct contact with strong chemical agents. For outdoor exposure beyond temporary routing, confirm installation conditions meet PUR ratings and relevant safety standards.
