ACT zwart 1,5 meter U/UTP CAT6-patchkabel met trekontlasting en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Black 1.5m U/UTP CAT6 Snagless RJ45 patch cable is a 1.5 metre network lead designed for reliable Ethernet connections between routers, switches, PCs and other network devices. Built to CAT6 wiring specifications, it supports high-speed data transmission for typical LAN applications. The cable uses an unshielded/unscreened twisted pair (U/UTP) construction and features snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and contact longevity. Its black jacket offers a discreet appearance for office or home installations.

Advantages

The cable combines CAT6 performance with a compact 1.5 m length to reduce cable clutter while maintaining throughput suitable for many gigabit networks. Snagless RJ45 boots protect the connector latch during installation and removal, lowering the risk of accidental damage. Gold-plated contacts increase corrosion resistance and ensure consistent signal transfer. The U/UTP design balances cost and performance for environments where additional shielding is not required.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to switches or patch panels
• Linking network equipment within racks or on office desks
• Home network connections between routers, modems and media devices
• Temporary cabling for testing and setup tasks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless boots
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert one RJ45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel until the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal conductors. For removal, depress the latch on the snagless boot before pulling the connector out to protect the clip and maintain connector integrity.

Recommendations

Use the ACT 1.5 m CAT6 patch cable for short to medium runs inside offices, server racks or home setups. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances to reduce the chance of interference. For environments with strong electromagnetic interference or where outdoor routing is needed, consider shielded cables or appropriate outdoor-rated alternatives.
