Actieve optische USB-C video- + data- + PD-kabel DeLOCK 84179 15 m

This Delock Active Optical USB-C cable (15 m) connects a device with a USB Type-C™ connector to a PC or laptop with a free USB Type-C™ port. The cable combines video, data and power delivery over a single USB-C connection and is designed for long-distance, high-speed transmission using optical fiber technology.

Advantages

The active optical construction makes the cable thinner, lighter and more flexible than equivalent copper cables while enabling longer cable runs without signal loss. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 (2 lanes) for video up to 4K Ultra HD at 3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz, USB data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2), and USB Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A). The cable has USB-C connectors on both ends and comes in black with a 15 m length.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB-C monitor (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) to a laptop or PC over long distances
• High-speed USB data transfers between USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible devices
• Powering USB-C devices that accept up to 60 W via USB Power Delivery

How to use

Connect one USB-C connector to the USB-C port of your PC or laptop that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and the other USB-C connector to the target device (for example, a USB-C monitor or peripheral). For video output at the specified DisplayPort 1.4 capabilities, ensure the host device supports DP Alt Mode over USB-C. For maximum USB data transfer rates, connect USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible devices. Power Delivery will negotiate automatically up to 60 W when both devices support the USB PD standard.

Recommendations

Only use this cable with devices that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C; it is not compatible with Thunderbolt™ devices. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve the optical fiber; route the 15 m cable with gentle curves and secure connections at both ends.
