Adapter ShiverPeaks 57040-MGS cinch (RCA)-bus naar cinch (RCA)-bus, metalen koppeling

The ShiverPeaks 57040-MGS Cinch (RCA) female to Cinch (RCA) female metal coupling is a compact adapter that connects two RCA-terminated cables or links devices with female RCA sockets. Built for straightforward extension and joining of audio and video signal paths, this metal coupling features gold-plated contacts and a durable black metal housing for reliable electrical contact and mechanical stability in home AV systems, stereo setups and professional patching scenarios.

Advantages

This metal RCA coupling offers corrosion-resistant gold-plated contact surfaces that support consistent signal transfer and minimize contact resistance. The solid metal body improves mechanical durability and helps maintain a stable connection under moderate handling. Its compact form factor allows for discreet connections behind equipment racks, AV furniture or wall-mounted components while maintaining a simple plug-and-play use model that requires no tools or assembly.

Suitable for

• Extending short RCA audio or composite video cables
• Joining two RCA-terminated cables in home theater and hi-fi systems
• Temporary or permanent patching in professional audio/video setups
• Connecting devices with female RCA jacks where a female-to-female link is necessary

Key specifications

• Connector type: female RCA (Cinch) to female RCA (Cinch)
• Housing material: metal with black finish
• Contact plating: gold-plated contact surfaces
• Use: audio and composite video signal coupling
• Form factor: compact inline coupling for minimal added length

How to use

To use the coupling, align and insert the male RCA plug of the first cable into one side of the adapter and the male RCA plug of the second cable into the opposite side until each plug seats securely. Ensure contacts are fully engaged to avoid intermittent signals. The adapter is intended for passive signal transfer and does not require power, configuration or tools; it can remain connected in-line as part of a cable run or be used temporarily for testing and patching.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use the coupling with well-terminated RCA cables and avoid excessive bending or strain at the connection points. If using with video signals, keep overall cable length and the number of junctions as low as possible to reduce potential signal degradation. Store the coupling in a dry environment to preserve the integrity of the gold-plated contacts.
