Audiokabel Goobay (WENTRONIC) 3,5 mm jack – 3,5 mm jack, 3 m, koper, vergulde contacten, magnetisch afgeschermd

The Goobay (WENTRONIC) 3.5mm TRS–3.5mm TRS audio cable, 3 m, is a stereo patch lead designed to transmit analogue audio between portable devices and audio inputs. It features copper conductors, gold-plated contacts and magnetic shielding to maintain signal integrity over its 3-metre length. The cable is presented in a slim metal design with a sharkskin grey textile sheath and is intended for connecting smartphones, portable players, laptops, car stereos and AUX inputs in home or professional setups.

Advantages

The cable uses copper conductors and gold-plated connector contacts to ensure reliable, low-loss signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Magnetically shielded construction and 28 AWG wire reduce interference and crosstalk, maintaining clear stereo reproduction. Slim metal plugs with bend protection and a textile braided sheath provide physical durability while keeping the cable flexible and gentle on surfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, tablets or portable players to car stereos or home hi‑fi AUX inputs
• Linking laptops or PCs to speakers, amplifiers or soundbars
• Temporary connections in recording setups, podcasting and portable audio monitoring

Key specifications

• Connector types: 3.5 mm TRS male — 3.5 mm TRS male
• Cable length: 3 m
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: magnetically shielded
• Wire gauge: 28 AWG
• Outer finish: braided textile sheath in sharkskin grey with slim metal plugs

How to use

Insert one 3.5 mm TRS male plug into the headphone or line‑out socket of the source device and the other plug into the AUX, line‑in or headphone input of the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to avoid intermittent contact. For devices with a protective case, use the slim plug design to achieve a secure fit without removing the case. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends to prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For best audio quality, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables. Disconnect by gripping the metal housing rather than pulling the cable itself, and store the cable loosely coiled to prevent kinking and stress on the connectors.
