Audiokabel Goobay / WENTRONIC 3,5 mm jack – 3,5 mm jack, 5 m, koper, vergulde contacten, magnetisch afgeschermd

Goobay / WENTRONIC 3.5mm TRS–3.5mm TRS audio cable, 5 m, uses copper conductors with gold-plated contacts and magnetic shielding to deliver a clean stereo line-level connection between portable devices and audio inputs. The cable is designed for common 3.5 mm TRS connections on smartphones, tablets, laptops, headphones, car stereos and home audio systems. The exterior combines a slim metal plug design with a textile-braided sheath in a grey tone for a compact, abrasion-resistant finish that fits easily even when devices are in protective covers.

Advantages

The cable’s copper conductors (AWG 28) provide stable signal transmission while gold-plated connector contacts resist corrosion and ensure reliable contact. Magnetic shielding reduces interference from nearby electronic sources for clearer stereo reproduction. The slim metal plugs and bend protection make the cable durable in everyday use, and the 5 m length offers extended reach for connecting devices over longer distances without signal loss typical of poorly shielded leads.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, tablets or portable audio players to headphones or external speakers
• Linking laptops or desktop PCs to amplifiers, soundbars or car stereos for playback
• Temporary or permanent line-level stereo connections in home audio setups and mobile installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm TRS male – both ends
• Cable length: 5 m
• Conductor material and size: copper, AWG 28
• Contact finish: gold-plated
• Shielding: magnetic shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference
• Outer: textile-braided sheath with slim metal plugs and bend protection
• Colour: grey/silver and black accents

How to use

Insert one 3.5 mm TRS plug into the audio output of the source device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or audio player) and plug the other end into the input of the destination device (headphones, amplifier, speaker or car stereo). Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input/output levels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; the braided sheath and bend protection will increase longevity if the cable is handled with moderate care.

Recommendations

For best audio quality, keep the cable away from high-power transformers and strong RF sources. When routing in a vehicle or near other wiring, avoid tight loops and secure excess length to prevent strain on connectors. Clean contacts occasionally with a dry, lint-free cloth; avoid aggressive cleaners that might damage the gold plating or the textile braid.
