Barrow adapter G1/4 inch AG naar G1/4 inch AG 10 mm, model TB2D-02 b, zwart

Barrow TB2D-02 b is a compact G1/4" male-to-male adapter with a 10 mm body length and a black finish, created for liquid-cooling and plumbing assemblies. The adapter provides a direct connection between two G1/4" threaded components, enabling secure joins between fittings, extensions or replacement of worn connectors in PC cooling loops and other fluid systems. Its short profile helps maintain compact routing and minimizes protrusion inside tight enclosures.

Advantages

The adapter offers a straightforward, tool-friendly connection with standard G1/4" threads for compatibility across common water-cooling fittings. Its 10 mm length reduces stress on adjacent fittings and keeps tubing runs neat. The black surface finish provides a uniform appearance and resists showing light wear, while the solid construction ensures a leak-resistant interface when properly installed with compatible sealing methods.

Suitable for

• Joining two G1/4" threaded fittings or extensions in PC liquid-cooling loops
• Replacing damaged or corroded short connectors in water-cooling or small plumbing systems
• Creating compact inline joins where minimal thread-to-thread distance is required
• Use in custom cooling builds, test rigs, and laboratory setups with standard G1/4" ports

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4" male on both ends
• Body length: 10 mm
• Finish: black
• Material: metal construction suitable for liquid-cooling environments
• Compatibility: standard G1/4" fittings and components

How to use

Ensure mating threads are clean and free of debris before installation. Hand-start the adapter into each G1/4" female port to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with an appropriate wrench until a firm, leak-free connection is achieved without over-torquing. Where required, apply compatible thread sealant or tape appropriate for water-cooling systems; avoid sealants that could degrade tubing or internal components. After installation, pressure-test the loop and inspect for leaks before full operation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with components rated for liquid-cooling to ensure chemical compatibility. When replacing fittings, match thread type and verify the available clearance for a 10 mm connector. Periodically inspect threaded connections for tightness and signs of corrosion or wear; perform a controlled leak test after any maintenance.
