Barrow adapter recht G1/4 inch buitendraad naar buitendraad 14mm draaibaar, model TBX2D-02 b, zwart

Barrow TBX2D-02 b is a straight G1/4" male-to-male adapter with an integrated 14 mm swivel joint in black, designed for PC water-cooling and fluid connection systems. The compact threaded adapter links two standard G1/4" fittings and the swivel section allows controlled rotation between connected components, helping to reduce stress on tubing and fittings during loop assembly. Its low-profile form factor is intended for use in tight layouts and custom loop routing where angular adjustment and secure threaded connections are required.

Advantages

The adapter provides a stable, leak-resistant threaded connection while the 14 mm swivel joint permits rotation without unthreading, easing installation and alignment of fittings in confined spaces. The black finish offers visual consistency with common water-cooling components and may reduce visible wear over time. The straight male-to-male design minimizes overall length compared with angled or multi-part assemblies, supporting compact loop designs.

Suitable for

• PC custom water-cooling loops where two G1/4" male threads must be joined
• Tight or compact radiator, pump, or reservoir mounting locations
• Situations requiring rotational adjustment of fittings without loosening threads
• Retrofit or maintenance tasks where simplifying disassembly is beneficial

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4" male-to-male connection
• Swivel joint diameter: 14 mm
• Form factor: straight adapter with integrated swivel
• Finish: black
• Intended use: PC liquid cooling and fluid routing

How to use

Inspect the adapter and mating fittings to ensure threads and sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged. Hand-start the G1/4" threads to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to a secure fit using appropriate tools while avoiding over-torquing. Use the swivel feature to orient fittings and tubing before final tightening, allowing rotation to reduce torsion on tubes. After assembly, pressure-test the loop or perform a leak check according to your cooling system procedures.

Recommendations

Use compatible G1/4" fittings and appropriate sealing methods (such as compatible O-rings or thread sealant specified for PC cooling) and avoid excessive torque when tightening. In confined installations, use the swivel to fine-tune alignment, then verify all connections with a controlled leak test before powering the system.
