Barrow Hardtube Fitting 14mm G1/4 inch hoekverbinder — zwart (FBYKN-T14 V1 b)

Barrow Hardtube Fitting 14mm G1/4" angle connector in black is an angled compression fitting engineered for 14 mm rigid coolant tubing and standard G1/4" threaded water-cooling systems. It creates a sealed joint between hard coolant pipes and G1/4" ports, allowing tidy routing and direction changes in custom PC liquid-cooling loops while preserving a tight, leak-resistant connection. The low-profile angled design helps manage tubing runs in constrained layouts and aligns with common water-cooling components for modular assembly.

Advantages

The angled connector offers precise alignment for 14 mm hard tubing with a standard G1/4" interface, reducing stress on joints and simplifying loop planning. Its compression-style seal provides reliable leak resistance when installed correctly, and the black finish minimizes visual distraction in windowed cases. The fitting’s form factor supports compact routing and cleaner layouts compared with flexible tubing alternatives.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid-cooling loops using 14 mm rigid tubing
• Angle changes and tight routing in compact or multi-component systems
• Connections to water blocks, radiators, pumps, and reservoirs with G1/4" ports
• Builds where a consistent black aesthetic is required

Key specifications

• Compatible hardtube outer diameter: 14 mm
• Thread standard: G1/4"
• Connector type: angled compression fitting
• Finish: black

How to use

Prepare the 14 mm hard tube by cutting squarely and deburring the end to ensure a clean mating surface. Slide the compression collar or sleeve (if provided) onto the tube, insert the tube fully into the fitting until it seats against the internal stop, then tighten the compression nut to form a seal. Thread the fitting into a G1/4" port on the component and torque to a firm hand-tight plus a small additional turn as recommended by the component manufacturer to avoid over-tightening. Inspect all joints before filling the loop and perform a pressure or leak test according to standard PC water-cooling procedures.

Recommendations

Use a proper tube cutter and deburring tool for clean tube ends, and apply a slow, controlled leak test for several hours before regular operation. When routing near tight corners, allow slight clearance to prevent stress on the fitting and tubing. Replace any fitting that shows visible damage or wear to maintain system integrity.
