Cinch-stekker ShiverPeaks BS52090-S

The ShiverPeaks BS52090-S RCA wire connector is a single male RCA plug designed for audio and video cabling applications. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector is intended to provide a durable interface between source and playback devices. Sold individually, this connector is suitable for repair, replacement, or bespoke cable assemblies where a reliable, compact RCA termination is required.

Advantages

Stainless steel construction offers corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for extended service life. The male RCA design ensures compatibility with standard RCA female sockets used on amplifiers, receivers, speakers and audio equipment. A single-piece retail format allows easy stocking and selective installation in custom cable projects or device repairs.

Key specifications

• Connector type: male RCA plug
• Material: stainless steel housing and outer shell
• Sold as: individual connector
• Application: audio and video signal transmission
• Compatibility: standard RCA female sockets

How to use

Strip the cable to expose the centre conductor and shield according to the connector's assembly requirements. Insert and secure the inner conductor into the central pin contact and ensure the shield is properly grounded to the outer shell or soldering point as specified by the connector type. After assembly, verify a firm mechanical fit and test the electrical continuity and signal integrity with appropriate audio equipment before final installation.

Recommendations

Use in dry, indoor environments or within protected cable runs to maximise life span; avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress at the connector interface. For optimal audio performance, ensure clean contact surfaces and correct polarity when connecting multiple channels.
