Coax-adapter Schwaiger UEST9330 531

The Schwaiger UEST9330 531 coaxial connector converts between an IEC male connector and an F-type connector, enabling a direct link between equipment with different cable terminations. Supplied as a single-piece solution, this adapter supports the transmission of radio and television signals and is suitable for short, in-home connections where standard coaxial cables are used.

Advantages

This adapter provides a compact, single-piece connection that eliminates the need to replace existing cables or install additional wiring. The gender configuration (IEC male to F female) ensures compatibility between consumer electronics such as set-top boxes, TVs, and antenna feeds. Constructed for typical household signal levels, the connector facilitates straightforward installation and reliable contact between mating sockets without signal inversion or complex converters.

Suitable for

• Connecting an antenna or cable feed with an F connector to devices requiring an IEC male input
• Linking set-top boxes, televisions, and radio equipment in home entertainment setups
• Temporary or permanent in-home installations where a compact adapter is preferable to re-cabling

Key specifications

• Connector types: IEC male on one side and F-type on the other
• Quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Application: RF signal transmission for TV and radio frequencies over coaxial cable
• Form factor: inline adapter suitable for standard coaxial sockets
• Compatibility: designed for use with common coaxial cables and consumer RF equipment

How to use

Align the IEC male end with the device's IEC female socket and push firmly until seated. Attach the F-type side to a cable or jack by rotating the mating connector if it is a threaded F-connector, or by pushing in if using a push-fit F connector. Ensure both connections are secure and that cables are routed without sharp bends or excessive tension to avoid degrading signal quality. No tools are typically required for basic installation.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use the adapter with properly shielded coaxial cables and avoid long runs with multiple adapters. Inspect connectors for corrosion or damage before installation and replace the adapter if physical wear is visible. Store the adapter in a dry environment to preserve contact surfaces.
