Coax-satellietverbindingskabel ShiverPeaks 80302 F-stekker naar F-stekker 1,5 m

ShiverPeaks 80302 is a 1.5 m coaxial satellite connection cable with F-plug to F-plug terminations designed for linking satellite receivers, LNBs and TV tuners. The cable provides a standard RF connection for signal transmission in indoor or short-run installations where a fixed F-type coaxial lead is required. It features fourfold shielding and gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent contact quality and reduced corrosion over time.

Advantages

The four-layer shielding delivers improved protection against electromagnetic interference and cross-talk, supporting stable satellite signal reception. Gold-plated contacts on the F-plugs improve conductivity and resist oxidation, while the central pin design ensures reliable mating with F-type sockets. The 1.5 m length balances flexibility and minimal signal loss for short connections between devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite LNBs to satellite receivers or set-top boxes
• Linking TV tuners to wall outlets in living rooms or media cabinets
• Short indoor runs where a fixed F-plug to F-plug coaxial lead is needed
• Installations requiring improved shielding against RF interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: F-plug to F-plug
• Shielding: 4-fold (multi-layer) shielding
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Impedance: standard 75 Ω coaxial
• Screening effectiveness: >110 dB
• Central conductor: solid central pin for secure connection
• Intended use: satellite (SAT) signal transmission

How to use

Connect one F-plug end to the satellite receiver or set-top box and the other end to the LNB or wall outlet with an F-type socket. Ensure connectors are fully threaded and hand-tightened to provide firm contact; avoid over-tightening with tools to prevent damage to the connector body. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain gentle curves to preserve the cable's shielding and impedance characteristics.

Recommendations

For best results use this cable for indoor or short-distance satellite connections. Keep the cable away from mains power lines and strong RF sources to minimize interference. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of corrosion or if signal quality degrades despite correct installation.
