Coax-satellietverbindingskabel ShiverPeaks 80303, F-stekker naar F-stekker, 2,5 m

ShiverPeaks 80303 is a 2.5 m coaxial satellite connection cable with F-plug to F-plug terminations, designed to link satellite LNBs, set-top boxes and DVB receivers to dishes or distribution equipment. The cable features a central conductor with gold-plated contacts and a multi-layer shield that provides high RF attenuation, making it suitable for short indoor runs or protected external installations where a reliable satellite signal connection is required.

Advantages

The cable combines a secure F-plug to F-plug connection with gold-plated contacts to reduce corrosion and maintain low contact resistance. A four-fold shielding structure offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and improves signal stability; the construction also includes a mantle current filter to limit unwanted currents on the cable jacket. With a 2.5 m length it provides flexibility for typical home installations without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite LNBs to set-top boxes or DVB receivers
• Short runs between satellite dishes and indoor distribution points
• Replacement or upgrade of existing indoor satellite patch cables
• Installation scenarios requiring improved shielding against interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial satellite connection cable with F-plug terminations
• Connector configuration: F-plug to F-plug
• Length: 2.5 m
• Contacts: gold-plated central conductor contacts for corrosion resistance
• Shielding: four-layer shield providing high screening effectiveness (>110 dB)
• Additional feature: mantle current filter to reduce conductive interference on the outer conductor
• Suitable environments: indoor use and short protected external runs

How to use

Connect one F-plug end to the output of the satellite LNB or dish and the other end to the input of the set-top box, DVB receiver or wall distribution socket. Ensure connectors are pushed fully home and hand-tightened; avoid over-tightening with tools to prevent damage to the F-connector threads. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight kinks or proximity to strong EMI sources. For external segments, place the cable in weather-protected conduits or use appropriate seals at connection points.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, keep the cable run as short as practical and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables. When replacing an existing cable, compare connector condition and shielding performance; if corrosion or poor screening is present, replacement with a well-shielded cable such as this model will help maintain reliable satellite reception.
