Coaxiale F-bus naar RCA-koppeling ShiverPeaks 85221 voor signaalomzetting

ShiverPeaks 85221 is an adapter coupling that converts a coaxial F-type connection to an RCA (Cinch) connection. It allows a coaxial cable with an F-connector to be joined to an RCA input or lead, enabling signal transfer between antenna or TV coax outputs and RCA-equipped audio/video devices. The adapter is intended for straightforward, passive signal coupling without signal amplification or processing.

Advantages

The adapter provides a compact and simple mechanical interface for converting F-type coaxial outputs to RCA inputs, supporting audio and video signal continuity where direct RCA connections are required. Its passive design requires no power and preserves the original cable routing, making it suitable for temporary setups, retrofitting older AV equipment, or bridging different connector standards in domestic and professional environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV or antenna coax outputs to RCA-equipped amplifiers or recorders
• Adapting coaxial cable runs for legacy audio/video equipment with RCA inputs
• Temporary signal routing during installation, testing, or troubleshooting of AV systems

Key specifications

• Input connector type: F-type (female coupling for coaxial cable)
• Output connector type: RCA (female coupling for Cinch cable)
• Function: Passive signal coupling for audio/video and RF signals
• Construction: Compact inline adapter body suitable for confined spaces
• Compatibility: Works with standard coaxial cables and RCA leads used in AV equipment

How to use

To use the adapter, securely screw the coaxial F-connector from your cable onto the adapter's F-type threaded coupling until hand-tight, then insert the RCA plug into the adapter's RCA socket until it seats fully. Ensure connections are clean and free from debris to maintain good electrical contact. This adapter is passive and does not require any configuration; verify signal presence and levels using the connected AV equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, use short cable runs and avoid excessive bending near the adapter to reduce signal loss. If you require impedance matching or longer runs for RF signals, consider using a dedicated balun or active converter designed for impedance transformation. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or wear when used in long-term installations.
