Coaxiale stekker DeLOCK 90198

The DeLOCK 90198 coaxial connector is designed for reliable signal transmission in audio and video setups. Its robust construction supports consistent connections between coaxial cables and devices, helping maintain signal integrity for analog and digital sources. The connector is compatible with common coaxial cable types used in consumer and professional AV installations and computer component accessories.

Advantages

The coaxial connector provides stable electrical contact and mechanical durability, reducing signal loss and intermittent connections. Its solid build minimizes wear from repeated insertions and removals and ensures consistent impedance matching for clearer audio and sharper video. The compact design simplifies installation in tight spaces and aligns with standard coaxial cable terminations.

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and the dielectric to expose the inner conductor and shield according to the connector's required strip lengths. Insert the cable into the connector housing, ensuring the center conductor seats firmly in the contact and the shield makes reliable contact with the connector body. Secure the connector according to its fastening method (crimp, screw, or push-fit) and verify the mechanical fit. After assembly, test the connection with the intended AV equipment to confirm signal transmission and perform adjustments if necessary.

Recommendations

Use appropriate tools for stripping and securing the connector to avoid damage to the conductor or dielectric. Check impedance compatibility with the connected devices to reduce reflections and signal loss. For installations exposed to movement or vibration, periodically inspect connections for wear and re-torque or replace connectors as needed.
